Installation and maintenance of Ethernet/IP networks and services is now made easy with the MX line of products. The MX100 and MX120 are handheld Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet test sets ideal for turn-up and hand-off of Ethernet networks, and service level agreement (SLA) verification of Ethernet services. With standard basic and easy-to-use features that include BERT, RFC 2544, Loopback, and IP connectivity verification, the MX products are the perfect tool for the installation of new Ethernet networks. Optional features like Multiple Streams, Traffic Flooding, and VLAN Scan, turn the MX products into advance test sets ideal for end-to-end QoS performance testing of multi-service networks and for troubleshooting of network problems in both the Access and Metro space. The accompanying PC software, Reveal MX, allows the user to manage test profiles, download results from the test set, create professional reports in minutes, and control the unit remotely for technical support purposes or for on demand testing.

When the MX100 and MX120 are combined with the rack mounted MPX100 Metro Ethernet Expert Probe, a complete end-to-end and distributed solution becomes available 24/7/365 for on demand testing and troubleshooting. One or multiple MPX100s can be controlled from the same MPX Controller to test from one MPX in the network to another, or to test from the MPX100 to a MX100 or MX120 in the field.
